Cloudy Jump
A mobile game with a chill aesthetic, cheerful lofi music and a lot of jumping on clouds.
Originally developed for a college weeklong gamejam (September 2019), I later spent a few more weeks and polished it up for a release. It was released on the Play Store in October 2019.
Tons of my friends played it and were addicted to it, I kept updating it for a few months with more content and characters (because of my friends kept nagging me for it) and the game was available to install on android till late 2023.
About the game
You're looking out the airplane window and imagining about a weird guy jumping on clouds and collecting coins to pass, airplane rides sure are a pain!
I originally got the idea on a boring airplane ride to my grandparents house, I was just imagining jumping on clouds. I stashed the idea away for sometime, then finally months later decided to make something using it for a game jam in my college.
All the art was free-to-use pixel art I found on opengameart, and the music was used by permission by Leiwaan.
